From start to finish Laura has been nothing but amazing. I rang before 9am the morning after my beautiful horse Joe had to be PTS following colic surgery and she answered immediately. She gave me all the required information and was very sympathetic as I sobbed my way through the conversation. Her and her father collected Joe the same afternoon from Pembrokeshire. The way they handled the difficult recovery and how they reassured us was nothing but respectful from their arrival to departure. I cannot thank them enough for such an incredible service and for making what was my worst nightmare that bit easier knowing that Joe’s final journey was carried out with dignity and respect. Charlie was safely delivered back to us today. His ashes have been buried next to his Mum in his field. The beautiful wicker casket I have kept to put in my favourite mementos and rosettes from the last 29 years. You took the time to ask her name and were so tender when moving her talking to her the whole time . I can't thank you enough for everything you did. From rearranging your day to allow you to be with us sooner to meeting us so late on Thursday so we could bring Spirit home.. we never felt rushed or hurried saying goodbye or when we came to collect her You gave us time to talk about her and took extra time with Abbie my granddaughter looking at the pictures she had done.

Bit late posting this but if you find yourself having to let go of a beloved pet, dog, pony, horse, think of using Pet and Equine Heaven. Sadly and shockingly, we lost 3 ponies in a very short time, to say we were grief stricken is an understatement. Each time we contact Laura and she came and collected GiGi , George and Casey Jones and handled them with respect and care. I was too upset to go to Bridgend and collect our first lost pony George and so my daughter collected him for us. When we lost GiGi I was determined to go and bring her home and with David, my husband, I did. Sadly, losing Casey Jones was the worst of all, so much sadness and loss made me ill and we couldn't collect him but Laura arranged for a courier to bring him home. At times that were full of loss, grief and sadness, Laura made the losses a bit better by the way she conducted her business. Thank you Laura. x

"Well, this is one of the most bittersweet recommendations I’ve ever had to write & a long one at that. Almost 2 weeks ago, I had my horse of a lifetime, my soulmate sadly pts. It’s not an easy decision, the ‘what ifs’, ‘maybe’s’ etc are taunting you whether awake or asleep.

A few months before I knew it was time, I emailed Laura to get a feel for ‘Your Pet & Equine Heaven Ltd’ even though I knew someone who had previously had to use their services. I called Laura on the 13th of September with the intention of booking in for the 6th of October as organised with the vet. Laura listened to my worries, talked me through the process & generally made me feel supported, comforted & like I was making the right decision even though, Laura had never met me or Luka.

Within two days of that conversation Luka took a turn & was showing me that it was her time. I was distraught, that doesn’t even cover how I was feeling but the one person I felt I need to talk to before my vet was Laura. I needed to know I wasn’t wrong in bringing the dreaded day forward & that I wasn’t this horrid person. Again, Laura was at the end of the phone, she listened to my heartbreak, comforted me & told me to follow my gut & listen to my horse.

Fast forward to the dreaded day, the 20th of September. In all honesty, I couldn’t have done it without Laura. Laura understood how I was feeling, it was okay to cry, to grieve, to feel every emotion I needed to but Laura wouldn’t let it swallow me. Laura brought me back to the here & now, made me realise that there were things I needed to do & in all honesty, stopped me beating myself up about failing her.

Laura assisted the vet with the main thing I was dreading the most & that was Luka going down. A horse is a big animal & as much as we’d love them to lay down & just go to sleep, they don’t. They fall. Laura assisted my vet into guiding Luka down as gently as possible, no drama, no noise & made it a whole lot easier. The care Laura & her father show, the respect they give & their compassion, empathy & everything that they stand for shines through in all they do.

As much as I miss Luka, I have no regrets about that day & I hold Laura & her father in high regard for that. Laura was there for the entire time from the vet arriving to Luka taking her last ever journey. Laura & her father handled everything with true professionalism & dignity. I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you are having to go through the truly heartbreaking decision & are considering cremation along with using Your Pet & Equine Heaven, do it. It’s not an easy time but Laura & her father really do their upmost within their power to ease the pain, even a little bit. They are some of the best people I have ever met & to say that in regards to the worst day of my life truly does speak highly of them.

So, please, if you are in the same situation as I was whether you have a small furry or large, please choose Laura at Your Pet & Equine Heaven, she will support you & make you realise you are not alone in this. I want to thank you, Laura & Dad for taking such good care of Luka & I. I am so glad I chose you & as much as it’s a horrible thing to say, when the time comes, I will choose you again. My beautiful horse of 27 sadly had to be put to sleep, breaking my heart after breaking her leg. Laura helped me to give her the dignity my gorgeous girl and best friend truly deserved. I also wanted to say, that the thing that made me feel happiest, was when you put a nice clean comfy towel under his head to rest upon, I know that may seem insignificant to some, but for me, that was the most respect anyone (other than myself) had ever shown my special boy, and also, when you left, you did it slowly, and respectfully, that meant everything to me. Dear Laura, We just wanted to thank you both so much for the complete service you provided us for our beloved pony 'Appache'. We were especially impressed with the removal method. From the time we first contacted you, you made us feel so secure in the knowledge that she was to be taken care of in such a sympathetic way. She arrived back safely with us on the 5th March. It was so nice to see the beautiful casket and this will now lay beneath her favourite spot in the field. We would not hesitate to use your service again and would certainly recommend you to other horse lovers.

We really appreciated your kindness and compassion and the gentle way you moved him onto the sled and into the trailer. When we finally said goodbye he looked so peaceful, and we know he will be so well looked after all the time he is in your care.

You both made such a heart wrenching experience so much easier to bear. He was a much loved pony in a million, and we will always miss him. At least we have such happy memories of the fourteen years we were privileged to own him. He was a great character and had lived a good life.

Caught in a dilemma as to whether to use the person my vet recommended, I can now truly say that I am so pleased that my daughters Lana and Tanya found you on the Internet.

Trust and respect oozed from Laura’s voice from the start of our communications.

Love and respect was shown to Marley from the word go.

The loss of Marley was traumatic enough but his departure from his home at Wanborough was made all the better by the unique qualities that both daughter and dad showed, from Marley’s recovery to the empathy given.

Marley was collected for his journey back home just 1week later.

As a family we could not recommend Laura and her dad enough. They truly are earth angels sent to help us in our hour of need.

Your Father, and yourself, were so empathetic and careful, with the way you recovered Jem from her stable. All the pieces of equipment you used, were totally immaculate, and your carrying trailer spotless. Jem was known locally, as the 'Most Pampered Piebald in Pembrokeshire'. You took a lot of Heartache away, with her passing, as you (although not knowing her) treated her with as much care in Death, as she had in Life had from us. As I said at the start of this message, Thank-you really does not come close, to the expertise and empathy shown not only to Jem, but ourselves as well. Misty arrived home yesterday, thank you very much. Thank you for your time and attention offered to my little soldier. At 30 years of age it was very bitter-sweet loss, and extremely emotional. He was the first equine death I have had to deal with and you made it far better than I could ever have imagined. Being able to watch you and your Dad work so calmly and expertly to get him in the trailer so gently meant a lot to me as I have always ensured everything that happened to him was under my supervision, your service meant I could do that to the very last. I will never forget how much care you took to make sure he didn't bump his front and back legs on the barn door on the way out. I cannot praise laura the owner of pet and equine heaven enough (5 stars isn’t enough) she was so kind in helping me get my horse (who had unexpectedly passed away) out of his field it was late Sunday afternoon on what was the hottest day of the year and believe me when I say my field is no way accessible to vehicles especially where he was however after a lot of hard work Laura and her partner actually managed to rescue him and I’m really grateful for the dignity they gave him every movement with him was so careful and gentle nothing less than what he deserved (he was such a beautiful soul) I instantly knew he was getting left in good hands.

I’ve had his ashes back in a lovely oak casket with cloudy engraved and I have some hair of his that Laura has kindly cut off so that I can have a bracelet made . Pet and equine heaven was £150 cheaper than what I’d been previously quoted by another pet cremation service (who on the day refused to help me) and as of that day I wouldn't use anyone else she's a genuinely lovely person with a heart of gold and what she done for me that day says a lot about her character she’s a genuine animal lover and the pet and owners best interest is always first in her mind . It was a dreadful day and without Laura going out of her way to help a complete stranger I wouldn't of got him out and probably would have had to have had the hunt out and that would have haunted me forever cause now at least I feel I’ve done my best for him at the very end. Thankyou Laura for everything you done x

Laura was so professional and compassionate, she waited for the other horses to say their goodbyes then dealt with everything so that I could leave, locking up behind her.
